Audubon Partnership for Economic Development, LDC (APED) was created in 1996. APED is dedicated to economic development, skills development, and creating opportunities for residents and businesses of northern Manhattan in New York City. APED supports educational services, technical assistance services, and an economic development program to strengthen small businesses, management, and marketing capacity. Economic development initiatives include the Upper Manhattan Empowerment Zone Commercial Revitalization Initiative, Revolving Loan Fund, and Business Outreach & Technical Assistance.
